Georgie Perigny

Hello! My name is Georgie  Perigny and I am excited to join the Beacon Hill Elementary School team as a Vice Principal.  I have proudly worked at Chinook's Edge School Division as a teacher and a leader for the past 18 years. A part of my role as a Vice Principal for the past 8 years has included Inclusive Education, Indigenous Education, Instructional Leadership, as well as Literacy and Numeracy best practices and assessments. I am a lifelong learner and I have received a Bachelor of Education generalist degree with an Inclusive Education background as well as a Masters in Educational Technology. I enjoy instilling a love of learning and it excites me to see our curious, creative, and imaginative students engaged in their learning. 

As a leader, I want to make a positive difference in the lives of others by leading with compassion and kindness. I believe it takes a village to raise a child and I look forward to working together with our staff, students, and parents to ensure a positive learning experience for all. 

I  am a wife and mother of two adult sons (Payton and Keaton) and I live in Red Deer with my husband and two dogs. I enjoy walking, hiking, kayaking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

I look forward to meeting all of you and becoming a part of the community.
